NO*Glassrosens Ragdoll is the name we have chosen for our cattery. My name is Berit Huseby, and together with my daughter Cecilie, we hope to build a first class cattery with welltempered, healthy and beautiful cats for petlives. From time to time we also are able to contribute with some welltyped breeding cats for other registered catteries.
Our cattery was approved by FIFe, February 12, 2009. We have been members in the FIFe Ragdoll Breed Counsil for in 2013, 2015, 2016 and memberships for 2017 are now approved. Our local catclub - in FIFe below NRR - is Adelkatten Catclub.
We are also members in TICA, and Cecilie have our catteryname registered there.
At the moment we have the cats mentioned below is living with us in Fredrikstad. Our neutered former breeding queen CH (N)Firings Rag's Felica, and Glassrosens Hector Barbossa, our stud in 2015 and 2016, but now neutered.
Dino is living in our gardenhouse - and is on a suprelorin chip at present - with him is Cecilie's persian cat, Maki. The gardenhouse is a 55 m2 apartment with a livingroom, a kitchen, a bedroom, a storageroom and a bathroom. They have 2 secured catruns - one of them about 30 m2. Dino will hopefully become fertile again sometimes during the spring 2017. We have two young fertile ragdoll females living here at the moment, Mirumkitty Lucrezia and Kittydolls Gina. We kept one of Luzi´s kittens, White Queen, and she is living here with us.
Our other breeding queens are living in hostfamilies, who are their forever homes. When they have had the agreed number of litters the hostfamilies are their new owners. For our cattery this has been a big advantage throughtout the years we have been breeding :)
Our cattery is seated in Fredrikstad, a city in the south east part of Norway, very close to the Swedish border. About 2 1/2 hours drive from Gothenburg, and about 5 hours drive from Copenhagen, Denmark.
